BANGOR, Maine — City police say they expect to charge a juvenile suspect in connection with a bomb threat Tuesday that prompted the evacuation of Bangor High School
The bomb threat, which came in the form of a note, was discovered late Tuesday morning and reported to the Bangor Police Department at 10:52 a.m., according to Bangor police Sgt. Paul Edwards.
Edwards said a fire alarm was used to evacuate the building and that the matter remains under investigation.
Lt. Jeff Millard said the department’s bomb squad was not called in to search the building and that neither a bomb nor any of the components used to make one were found.
