At Calais, Adam Geel’s two-run, inside-the-park home run gave the Blue Devils a five-inning, 10-run-rule victory.

  Geel also had a two-run single and Jeremy Carr singled twice and drove in a run. Nathan Pike added an RBI double.

  Terrell Carver recorded a two-run triple for the Royals and Harold Lyons doubled.

Bucksport 12-3, Presque Isle 9-1
At Presque Isle, Tim Nason tossed a five-hitter, struck out four, walked two, and helped his own cause with a run-scoring single in the sixth inning as Bucksport completed an important doubleheader sweep.

   Bucksport used a 15-hit attack to win the opener.

  In the nightcap, Ryan Bailey had a pair of doubles and a single, and scored a pair of runs to back Nason’s performance.

  Tyler McAllian had a pair of singles and an RBI.

  Brennen Shaw doubled and singled for Presque Isle, Steve  Ford had a run-scoring double and Matt Chasse pitched an eight-hit complete game with two strikeouts and three walks.

  In the opener, Evan Eldridge, McAllian and Billy DeRedin each drove in two runs to help the Bucks prevail in the slugfest.

  Eldridge, who scattered 10 hits while pitching a complete game, had a pair of doubles and a single, McAllian doubled and singled and DeRedin singled twice.

  Nason doubled and singled and Tyler French singled twice.

  Dillon Kingsbury doubled and singled and drove in two runs for the Wildcats and Isaac LaJoie had two singles. Chasse and Zac Campbell had RBI singles.

Ellsworth, Caribou split
At Caribou, Garrett Jordan, Chad Caverhill and Cameron Anderson hit run-scoring doubles in the sixth inning to overcome a 7-6 deficit and lead Caribou past Ellsworth 9-7 in the nightcap.

  Ellsworth took the first game 12-5.

  In the first game, Jordan Carter had two doubles, a single and three RBIs for the Eagles. Seth Cote had two singles and two RBIs and Cote Card added two singles and two runs scored.

  Royce Landeen and Caleb Chapman each hit RBI doubles for the Vikings.

  In the second game, Garrett Jordan had two doubles, a single and an RBI to pace Cari-bou. Anderson added a double, single three RBIs and three stolen bases.

  Card tripled and doubled with two RBIs for Ellsworth and Ross Saunders hit an RBI single.

At Houlton, Max Bouchard allowed one run on four hits and no walks while striking out 10 as Stearns of Millinocket defeated Houlton.

  Garen Manzo tripled and singled with two RBIs for the Minutemen. Charlie Tapley added an RBI and two singles.

  Mike Ring singled and tripled to pace the Shiretowners. Hunter Hanning hit a triple.

  At Woodland, Tim Demolet and Tom Stanhope had run-scoring singles in a four-run third in-ning that helped carry Shead of Eastport past Woodland.
Ryan Bowen tossed six innings of four-hit, two-run baseball for the win. He struck out four and walked three.

  Tim Barnes doubled and singled for the winners and Stanhope singled twice. Each had an RBI.

  Trevor Campbell and Zack Cox had RBI singles for Woodland.

   At Corinth, Brett White hit a two-run single in the fifth inning to cap a three-run outburst and score the winning run for Central as the Red Devils edged Penquis of Milo.

  David Lord singled twice and Zach Kirlin hit an RBI single for the Red Devils.

  Jessie McLaughlin had two singles and scored twice for the Patriots. Shane Emery and Justin Artus each singled twice.
