Caribou splits with Old Town
At Caribou, the host Vikings came back to post a 7-4 victory over Old Town in the second game of Saturday’s Class B doubleheader after dropping the opener 4-2.
In the first game, Ashley Abbott doubled in two runs for Old Town in the fourth to back winning pitcher Hannah Morin.
Ashley England contributed an RBI double for Old Town while Sare Damboise doubled in a run for the Vikings. Rebecca McDougall added a double.
In the second game, three different Vikings recorded a two-run single apiece to help record the split.
Jordyn Doucette, Jamie Martin and Doucette each had two-run base hits for Caribou.
Amy Cossar drove in a pair of runs with a single for Old Town.

At East Millinocket, Kristen Roemich pitched a complete game giving up two runs on four hits with 12 strikeouts to lead Bangor Christian by Schenck.
Whitney Holmes hit two singles and a double for the Patriots. Katherine Bragg doubled and singled while Brittany O’Kelley added two singles.
Brooke Hannington hit a double for Schenck while Gabby Deloge hit an RBI single.

Fort Fairfield 19, Hodgdon 7
At Fort Fairfield, Amanda Hotham and Courtney Churchill each had two singles, two doubles and five RBIs as the Tigers rolled past Hodgdon.
Emily Blaisdell drove in two runs with three singles while Kelsey Turner added three singles with an RBI for Fort Fairfield.
Amanda Ryan doubled and singled to plate two runs for Hodgdon. Kim Levesque and Annie Hare added two singles apiece.

At Ashland, Whitney Donovan hit a triple, two doubles, two singles and knocked in six runs to power Ashland by Washburn.
Anna Paradis and Brooke LaBelle hit three singles apiece for the Hornets.
Kristi Sperrey hit a two-run single for Washburn while Marlaina Spooner added an RBI single.

At Farmington, Emily Cox pitched a two-hitter with 14 strikeouts to power Brewer past Mt. Blue.
Amy Adams and Coralie Dapice each knocked in a run for the Witches in the five-run sixth inning. Amy Curry and Adams each singled.
Kelly Yardley hit a double and a single to pace Mt. Blue.

Deer Isle-Stonington wins two
At Deer Isle, Sydney Outzs pitched the first no-hitter in program history with seven strikeouts and two walks as Deer Isle-Stonington defeated Jonesport-Beals 16-0 in the first game of a Saturday doubleheader.
The Mariners topped the Royals in the second game 23-0.
In the first game, Chelsea Brown posted two singles, a double and two RBIs for Deer Isle-Stonington. Janelle Ciomei hit three singles and knocked in two runs while Heidi Brewer added a double, a single and an RBI.
In the second game, Outzs pitched a one-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks to earn the win for the Mariners. Abby Grindle had two doubles, a single and four RBIs while Britnie Jones hit a three-run home run. Shiann Closson added two singles and two RBIs.
Louisa Beal hit a single for Jonesport-Beals.
