EXETER – Jeanette H. Bradbury, 77, wife of the late Alfred Bradbury, died May 20, 2010, at a Bangor hospital after a short illness. She was born Aug. 4, 1933, in Lowell, the daughter of Eugene and Irene (Champeon) Shorey. She graduated from Lee Academy as valedictorian. She loved to stay at home feeding her birds and also enjoyed family get-togethers. She is survived by three sons, James Powers and Pamela of Etna, John Bradbury of Exeter and Michael Bradbury and Gail of Exeter; a daughter, Beverly Forrester and Jim of Cornville; a brother, Vinal Shorey and Carmie of Lowell; a sister, Lois Norris and Lewis of Plymouth; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jeanette was predeceased a son, Charles Eugene Bradbury. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. David Bean officiating.
