Lincolnville man charged in theft of landlord’s Elvis Presley memorabilia

BELFAST, Maine — The Waldo County grand jury handed up indictments for 41 people Thursday, including a man charged with the theft of a large collection of Elvis Presley memorabilia.

Jason Cromeenes, 30, of Lincolnville was indicted for Class C unauthorized taking after allegedly stealing several thousand dollars’ worth of property in February that had been stored in his rental home by the Nevada homeowner.

The stolen items included furniture and the Elvis Presley collectibles, according to police, whose investigation led them to a Lincolnville storage unit where Cromeenes reportedly had stashed “almost all” the property reported missing by the homeowner.

Class C crimes are punishable by up to five years in prison and a maximum $5,000 fine.

Also indicted Thursday were several other alleged burglars, including two local men accused of violently breaking into an ex-girlfriend’s apartment, attacking two people inside and then fleeing the scene.

Adam L. Skinner, 21, Belfast was indicted for burglary, aggravated criminal trespass, domestic violence assault, assault and operating after suspension. Dalton Hines, 19, Swanville, was indicted for burglary, aggravated criminal trespass, domestic violence assault and assault.

Others indicted include:

Paul Andrew Bragdon, 30, of Waterville, two counts burglary and two counts theft by unauthorized taking.

Raymond N. Porter, 32, of Searsmont, eluding an officer, passing a roadblock, driving to endanger and operating after suspension.

James W. Ross, 53, of Liberty, aggravated operating after habitual offender revocation, criminal operating after suspension, operating beyond license condition or restriction and obstructing government administration.

Joseph P. Tompkins, 39, of Detroit, operating after revocation.

Jonathan Wargo, 19, of Prospect, burglary.

Anthony Vincent, 19, of Prospect, burglary.

Paul Stanley Downing, 29, of Detroit, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and operating after suspension.

William G. Mattingly, 28, of Troy, burglary of a motor vehicle, theft by unauthorized taking and violation of condition of release.

Lucas P. Perrigo, 26, of Frankfort, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and stealing drugs.

Heidi L. Leathers a/k/a Heidi Emmerton, 29, of Belfast, domestic violence assault and four counts of violation of conditions of release.

Darrell R. Dixon, 32, of Waterville, four counts burglary and four counts theft by unauthorized taking.

James L. Welch, 34, of Waterville, four counts burglary and four counts theft by unauthorized taking.

Edwin Y. Morris IV, 26, of Burnham, two counts burglary and two counts theft by unauthorized taking.

Scott A. Dodge, 38, of Unity, burglary, theft by unauthorized taking and violation of privacy.

Chase S. Breen, 21, of Rockland, two counts robbery and violation of condition of release.

Amy L. Feener, 25, of Belfast, operating after suspension and aggravated forgery.

James Fletcher Cox 46, of Stockton Springs, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

Todd J. Mandoline, 21, of Searsport, theft by unauthorized taking.

Michael Ripley, 19, of Belfast, unlawful trafficking in schedule W drugs.

Seth M. Gallant, 21, of Stockton Springs, three counts unlawful trafficking in schedule W drugs.

Arthur Stevens, 53, of Swanville, six counts of unlawful trafficking in schedule W drugs, unlawful trafficking in schedule Z drugs and criminal forfeiture of $26,595.

Christopher F. Beeton, 22, of Belfast, five counts burglary, five counts theft by unauthorized taking, unauthorized use of property and criminal mischief.

Chad Overlock, 35, of Belfast, five counts burglary, five counts theft by unauthorized taking, unauthorized use of property and criminal mischief.

Tiffeny L. Green, 35, of Belfast, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and violation of condition of release.

Jeffery D. Joslen, 57, of Belmont, theft by unauthorized taking, forgery and unauthorized use of property.

Owen M. Bucklin, 48, of Stockton Springs, burglary, aggravated criminal trespass, terrorizing, criminal mischief and refusing to submit to arrest.

James J. Martin II, 33, of Belfast, aggravated assault.

Mark S. Belleisle, 53, of Belfast, assault and five counts of violation of conditions of release.

Tyler J. Damon, 18, of Stockton Springs, two counts assault, disorderly conduct and refusing to submit to arrest.

Constance M. Hersom, 41, of Frankfort, theft by unauthorized taking.

Gary Lee Elwell, 36, of Belmont, criminal OUI and operating beyond license condition or restriction.

Marie A. Swearingen, 34, of Litchfield, burglary, two counts theft by unauthorized taking and violation of conditions of release.

James A. Koehler, 56, of Bangor, domestic violence assault.

Justin T. Henderson, 22, of Burnham, burglary and theft by unauthorized taking.

Joshua E. Freeman, 26, of Montville, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release.

Michael C. Pyle, 27, of Searsport, aggravated criminal mischief, three counts unauthorized use of property, two counts criminal mischief and theft by unauthorized taking.

Michael T. Seekins, 25, of Belfast, ten counts of possession of sexually explicit materials.
