BANGOR, Maine — The public’s invited to attend a debate in Bangor among the four candidates for the Democratic nomination for Maine governor.
Pat McGowan, Libby Mitchell, Steve Rowe and Rosa Scarcelli are to gather Monday for the debate sponsored by the Bangor Region Chamber and Eaton Peabody law firm. It’ll be held at Husson College and moderated by Jim Morris, anchor and news director at WABI-TV 5 in Bangor.
The Democratic field was recently cut from five to four contenders when John Richardson dropped out of the race. Seven Republicans are contending for their party’s nomination in the June 8 primary.
The public’s invited to Monday’s Democratic debate. There’s no admission fee but tickets will be issued in advance.
