J.Alexander of TV’s ‘America’s Next Top Model,’ says Bangor is good location for show
Frustrated with delays Wednesday, April 28, 2010, in getting to Atlanta, Miss J. Alexander of television's America's Next Top Model show said "I've got to go straight to hair and makeup. I've got to be on set at 4:20," as he waits at Bangor International Airport. "This has not been a wonderful flight for Miss J at all," he add. Alexander was aboard flight 273 from Paris to Atlanta on Tuesday when it was diverted to Bangor after Derek Stansberry of Riverview Flordia said he had explosives on board the plane. “America’s Next Top Model” judge and modeling expert J. Alexander found himself in unfamiliar territory Tuesday after the plane he was on was diverted to Bangor International Airport.
Although admittedly not ready to make an impromptu media appearance Tuesday — he claimed to have “really bad breath” and complained that his hair wasn’t done — J. wasn’t all negative about the experience.
He told a Bangor Daily News reporter Monday morning that he intends to tell “America’s Next Top Model” host and modeling superstar Tyra Banks that Bangor would make a good secret location for the show.
