Elizabeth Brunton of Birch Harbor, ME was the top female finisher in the 16th Annual Animal Orphanage 5K Run Walk near the Old Town YMCA Sunday morning. According to organizer Robert Fowler, the event had a record 155 human entrants and approximately 25 canine entrants. " Our main goal in this and all off our fundraising events is of course to raise money to help homeless strays that come through our doors," said Fowler.
