NORTH HAVEN, Maine — One man was arrested and another man summoned after police found 141 marijuana plants in their Main Street home Saturday afternoon.

Devon Haskell, 24, of North Haven was arrested Saturday on charges of cultivation of marijuana and sale or use of drug paraphernalia. Geoffrey Barrett, 23, also of North Haven, was summoned on the same charges.

Knox County sheriff’s Deputy James Moore, Deputy Rob Potter and Detective Sgt. Reginald Walker executed a search warrant at the men’s home and seized the plants along with drug paraphernalia, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

The plants were seedlings ranging in size from 3 inches to 1 foot tall and were worth $80,000, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Moore is the investigating officer.

Haskell was taken to the Knox County Jail and was released later Saturday on $1,000 bail.

The case will go to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
