At Beverly, Mass., the University of Southern Maine of Gorham scored four runs in the fifth inning, highlighted by a two-run triple by Mike Eaton, in topping Endicott College Tuesday.
Nick Grady had a double, two singles and an RBI for the Huskies. Collin Henry doubled and singled.
Chris Dominguez led Endicott with three singles. Andrew Betts hit a two-run single.

Southern Maine, UNE split

At Biddeford, the University of Southern Maine of Gorham scored 14 runs in the second and third innings to cruise to at 16-6 win over the University of New England in the opener.
The Nor’easters won the nightcap 8-1.
In the first game, Sarah Deroche triple, single and drove in three runs for the Huskies. Lauren DiCecco homered and Katie Davis had a double and two singles. Cerise Humphrey also had three singles and two RBIs. Chelsie Eugley had two  singles and knocked in two runs.
Sabrina Congram led UNE with three singles and two RBIs. Jenn Waldecker added two singles and scored two runs.
In the second game, Erin Lyons picked up her sixth win by holding the Huskies to one run over seven innings while striking out six. Marie Mantelli singled and drove in two runs.
Katie Davis doubled and singled with an RBI for southern Maine.

Colby sweeps Thomas
At Waterville, Colby College took two one-run wins from Thomas College. The Mules won 1-0 and 5-4.
In the first game, Alyssa Lepore hit a two-out triple in the third and Alex Essman drove her home with an RBI single for Colby.
Kristin Masessa doubled for Thomas.
In the second game, Lepore hit a double and drove in three runs for Colby. Barbara Santos doubled.
Samantha Moore hit a two-run home run in part of the Thomas four-run fifth inning.
