PORTLAND, Maine — People who want to see President Barack Obama at the Portland Expo will have to join a queue that could be quite long.

Tickets for the event will be available Wednesday on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 11 a.m. at the Expo. There is a limit of two tickets per person.

U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree says the event gets under way at 3:25 p.m. Thursday.

The rally is part of Obama’s effort to sell his health care overhaul at campaign-style events. On Thursday, Obama is also visiting Boston, where he’ll attend a fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee.
