PARKMAN, Maine — A small shed was destroyed by fire Saturday on the North Dexter Road in Parkman.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office was called in to investigate the fire, which destroyed the approximately 10-by-12-foot shed owned by Ben Silva, according to Willie Williams, assistant Guilford fire chief.

Williams said there was no power or heat source in the shed, which was not insured.

Mutual aid was provided to Guilford firefighters by Sangerville, Dexter and Dover-Foxcroft firefighters.
