BANGOR, Maine — Two weeks removed from winning the Class C state championship, Washington Academy of East Machias’ three leading players took a joint victory lap during the Maine McDonald’s Senior All-Star Basketball Games at Husson University on Saturday.

WA standouts Ben Teer, Noah Von Rotz and Bryce Colbeth combined for 52 points as the East C-D all-stars rolled to a 112-77 victory over the West.

Meanwhile, newly crowned Mr. Basketball Indiana Faithfull of Cheverus of Portland lived up to that status earlier in the afternoon with an all-around performance that led the West A-B all-start to a 103-88 victory over the East.

Faithfull scored a game-high 27 points on 11 of 13 shooting from the field to go with seven assists, six rebounds and four blocked shots as the West pulled away after intermission.

The West led 51-43 at the break, but Faithfull scored 13 points and Portland guard Koang Thok added 11 of his 19 points during the game’s second 20-minute half to help break the game open.

Alonzo James of Morse of Bath led the East with 23 points, while Yusef Iman of Edward LIttle of Auburn scored 15 points and Bangor’s Clark Noonan grabbed 18 rebounds.

In the C-D game, Teer scored a game-high 25 points and seven assists, with 16 points on 7 of 10 shooting in his first seven minutes of duty in the second half as the East cruised to victory.

Von Rotz, Teer’s backcourt mate at the East Machias school, made his first six shots of the game on a variety of drives to the basket and finished with 20 points, while Colbeth contributed seven points and six rebounds for the East, which led 54-33 at intermission.

Jeremy Carr of Calais added 14 points while Garen Manzo of Stearns of Millinocket added 13 and Elias Springer of George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill contributed 11.

George Mortimer of Traip Academy of Kittery led the West with 19 points, while Tyler Chiasson of Dirigo of Dixfield added 16.
