MILO, Maine — Three Milo area men were charged with drug violations Thursday during the execution of a search warrant at a High Street home in Milo.

David Cyr, 56, of Milo was summoned for felony trafficking in scheduled drugs; Steven Bouchard, 54, of LaGrange was summoned for felony possession of scheduled drugs; and Michael Smart, 58, of LaGrange was summoned for felony possession of scheduled drugs, according to Lt. All three men are expected to make their initial court appearances on the charges on June 28 in Dover-Foxcroft District Court.

Seized from the home during the search were “dozens” of illegal prescription pills from prescriptions made out to other people, and $2,500 in cash and drug paraphernalia, according to Young.

Young said the search was part of a continuing investigation conducted by the Sheriff’s Department and Milo and Brownville police departments.
