CORINTH – Mara Ford Frace, 25, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, from complications after surgery. She was born Jan. 20, 1985, in Bangor, the daughter of Andrew and Pamela (Eckert) Frace. Mara and her family were very proud of her completion of her high school education in 2007. Her spiritual growth was amazing and inspiring to all those she touched. She was a member of Charleston Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents, Mara is survived by her son, Jacob Andrew, who was the joy of her life; brothers, Evan Frace and his partner, Rachel Jones, of Camden and Nathan Frace and his fiancee, Tonda Wilson, of Bangor; nieces, Daisy – Quinn, Sophie and Taylor Frace; maternal grandfather, Philip Eckert of Orrington; uncles, Larry Eckert of Orrington and PJ Frace and his wife, Peggy, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; aunts, Jackie Guagliardo and her husband, Joe, of Pleasant Valley N.Y., and Patsy Werner and her husband, Richard, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Lori Garcia and her husband, Mel, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, and Tammi Bowden of Trenton; many cousins and special friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Brady Frace; paternal grandparents, Roland and Molly Frace; and maternal grandmother, Marguerite Eckert. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Friday, March 5, at Corinth United Methodist Church, 275 Main St., Corinth, with the Rev. Cynthia Nickerson officiating. After the service, friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments at the church. Interment will be announced in the spring at Dean Hill Cemetery, Orrington.
