BANGOR – Damien Christopher Lynn, 15-month-old son of Cheryl Ann Metzger and Patrick T. Lynn, died unexpectedly Feb. 23, 2010, in Bangor. He was born in 2008 in Bangor. Damien enjoyed dancing in front of a mirror, running and laughing, and playing with his basketball and his blanket. He always put a smile on everyone’s face. Surviving in addition to his mother of Bangor and his father of Georgia, are a brother, Isiah Lynn; maternal grandmother, Joanne Francis and Dennis McCurdy of Brewer; maternal grandfather, Stephen Metzger of South Paris; paternal grandparents, James and Shirley Lynn of Georgia; maternal great-grandfather, Robert Shaw of Old Town; maternal aunt, Antoinette and Tokun Ashmore of Farmingdale; maternal uncle, Chris and Amie Richardson of Houlton; maternal cousins, Terrell Smith, Avery Smith and Keanu Ashmore of Farmingdale, Brie Richardson of Houlton, Brittany and Mackenzie McCurdy of Brewer; puppy, Bear; paternal aunts, Kristy Lynn, Katherin and Rob Kerr, and Ronnie Lynn; paternal uncles, James and Maris Lynn, and Jeff Lynn; and cousins, Jared, Shane and Robbie Kerr, Sean Lynn, Jamie and Jacob Lynn. He was predeceased by maternal great-grandmothers, Shirley Shaw and Gretta McKinnon; and maternal great-grandfather, Eugene McKinnon. A private service will be held.
