Should the postal service consider another location for Bangor’s post office?

The United States Postal Service’s decision to name the former District Court on Hammond Street as its top option for a new post office has inspired a lot of consternation among city residents. If you believe it is the wrong location, what argument would you

make to dissuade postal officials? What are the essential components of a new post office location? (Disclosure – a portion of the BDN’s office building was under consideration by the USPS.)
