Two people were injured in a car crash at Cedar and Brewster streets in Rockland on Friday when a driver lost control of a vehicle on the icy road and it spun into a parked tree-trimming truck. Lt. Jamie Leo (left) of the Rockland Fire Department said an older model Jeep Wagoneer was headed down Cedar Street at 10:53 a.m. when the driver lost control and hit the tree truck. Two people had minor back and neck pain and were taken to Penobscot Bay Medical Center. A person in the bucket of the tree truck was not injured. The Rockland Fire Department and EMS and Rockland police responded. Also pictured is firefighter Chris Whytock (right). No further information was available Friday evening.
