Parking ban in effect tonight, Thursday night

BANGOR — A parking ban is in effect Wednesday night, Jan. 20, starting at 11 p.m. through Thurs-day, Jan. 21 at 6 a.m. Bangor police said, Wednesday. They will extend the ban into Thursday night and Friday morning during the same hours.

They advise motorists not to park on any city street as Public Works will be clearing roadways of snow and ice. “At Public Works’ request, if you are parked on any city street during those hours, you will be ticketed and towed,” police said.
