Zach Blodgett added 10 points for Bangor, which took a 25-15 halftime lead by outscoring Skowhegan 12-4 in the second quarter.
Nate Thistle scored 10 points for Skowhegan, while Levi Barnes and Paul Verville each scored nine.

At Bucksport, Isaac Redman made the first of his two free throw attempts with 30 seconds remaining to break a 45-45 tie and Bucksport held on to defeat George Stevens Academy.
Cody Farrell scored 11 of his 16 points in the second half as the Golden Bucks rallied back from a 24-15 halftime deficit. He also hit two free throws with 1.7 seconds remaining to make it a three-point game.
Brandon Flegel had 11 points and seven rebounds for Bucksport. Redman had 11 points and Farrell added four assists.
Tom Crowe scored 17 points to lead George Stevens Academy.

At Red Barry Gym, the host Rams gave the undefeated Indians all they could handle, but Hillary Throckmorton’s 3-point attempt with eight seconds left rimmed out and Skowhegan’s Mackenzie Smith hit a free throw to seal the victory.
After the Indians’ Adrienne Davis missed two free throws with 14 seconds left, Throckmorton had a wide-open look from the right wing but the shot wouldn’t stay down.
Whitney Jones led all scorers with 16 points for 13-0 Skowhegan, 12 of which came in the second half.
Bangor, which dips to 5-7, played tenacious man-to-man defense throughout the night, limiting the Indians’ open looks at the hoop.
Kate Treadwell paced the Rams with 11 points, seven rebounds and two blocked shots while Throckmorton added 10 points.
