White was one of three people arrested on drug charges earlier that day following a police search at the Arthur Stevens residence on Bings Boulevard in Swanville.

The arrests were part of an ongoing, multi-agency drug investigation and a search of the residence uncovered more than 3 pounds of marijuana, 500 prescription pills, cocaine, scales and more than $26,000 in cash.

Officers from the Waldo County Sheriff’s Department, Searsport Police Department, Maine State Police and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency took part in the 9:30 a.m. search of Stevens’ residence.

Stevens, 53, was charged with four counts of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and was later released from the Waldo County Jail on $10,000 bail.

Also arrested at the home were White and Alden Brown, 56, of Jackson. Brown was charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and two counts of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs. He was released on $1,000 bail.

When patrolman Brian Lunt stopped at White’s residence for a routine bail check at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday he determined she had been smoking marijuana, according to police reports.
