CLINTON, Maine — Police in Maine and New Hampshire are searching for a 29-year-old woman whose car was found abandoned in the median of Interstate 95 in Clinton, Maine.

Police say Sarah Rogers of Barrington, N.H., was last seen in Barrington on Dec. 13, several hours before her car was found by a Maine state trooper who responded to a report of a car off the road.

Rogers was headed north. But footprints in the snow led across the median and into the southbound lanes.

The Kennebec Journal says police believe a passer-by stopped and picked Rogers up. She has not been seen since.

Police say Rogers is sometimes known as “Marla Moon.”

Barrington Police Officer Toby Perry says Rogers’ family wants to know if she’s safe.
