At Orono, junior guard Elizabeth Fox paced a balanced Red Riots’ attack with a game-high 17 points as Orono raced out to a 31-10 halftime lead and held on to beat Schenck of East Millinocket.
Fox scored 11 of her points in the first half as coach Jessica Libby’s club built a lead that peaked as high as 23.
Schenck responded in the second half, as its zone pressure forced 14 Orono turnovers and the Wolverines trailed by only seven with 2 minutes left after Jade DiCentes’ jumper in the paint, but the Riots hit their free throws to improve to 6-0.
Jillian Woodward recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds while also blocking four shots. Ally Sherman contributed eight points and 111 boards for Orono. Jade Keezer came up with four steals.
Sonya Brown and Laura Nicholson led 3-3 Schenck with nine points apiece. Brown also had five steals and six rebounds while Kristina Jamo had five steals.

At the Northern Maine Forum in Presque Isle, Isaac LaJoie scored two goals to help lift Presque Isle over John Bapst of Bangor.
Brennen Shaw and Caleb Buck both had a goal and an assist for the 6-1 Wildcats. Mitch Davis and Connor Shaw also scored. Adam Flynn recorded two assists while Derek Sczuroski, Jason Martin and Steve Ford also had an assist.
Michael Keim scored in the third period off assists from Deven Romain and Derrick Antworth for the 0-6-1 Crusaders.
Presque Isle’s Nic Davis saved 11 of 12 shots while John Bapst’s Derek Duff had 23 saves on 29 shots.

At Penobscot Ice Arena in Brewer, Josh Stanclift scored two goals to power Camden Hills of Rockport past Hampden Academy.
Henry Haselton had a goal and two assists for 4-3 Camden Hills. Jeff Jordan added a goal and an assist. Kyle Koskinen also scored. Ben Dufour notched two assists and Lucas Dill and Max Mercier also had an assist.
Nate Baker led 1-4 Hampden with a goal and an assist. Nick Pease also scored. Mark Eldridge, Mark Albert and Cody McAllister had assists.
Jacob Filderman of Camden Hills saved 32 of 34 shots. Hampden’s Jacob Ward saved 32 of 38 shots.

Orono 3, Old Town 1
At Alfond Arena in Orono, Tannar Francis scored the go-ahead goal 4:20 into the third period on an assist by Dan Perry as the Red Riots rallied past Old Town.
Old Town took a 1-0 lead when Emily Trembley scored in the first period on assists from Nick Nadeau and Trevor Francis.
Francis scored in the second period to tie the match, then put the Red Riots ahead before teammate Connor McKaig added an insurance goal later in the final period.
Perry finished with two assists for Orono, while Michael Fowler contributed one assist.
Michael Brown made 17 saves on 18 shots for 4-2-1 Orono.
Patrick Spaulding made 29 saves on 32 shots for 0-6 Old Town.
