The Associated Press

PORTLAND, Maine — The Maine Red Claws’ seven-game win streak has been snapped by the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

The visiting Mad Ants beat Maine 113-106 Saturday night as Ron Howard had a team-high 28 points in the NBA Developmental League game. Maine surrendered a 62-point first half on the way to their second loss of the season.

Boston Celtic assignee Bill Walker had a game-high 32 points in the Red Claws’ loss, while Bobcats’ assignee Alexis Ajinca’s 23 points and 10 rebounds still were not enough.

The win improves Fort Wayne to 4-5 on the year, and the Red Claws drop to 7-2.
