MADAWASKA – Alfred P. Beaulieu, 95, passed away Dec. 9, 2009, at a Fort Kent health care facility. He was born Sept. 9, 2009, in Green River, New Brunswick, the son of Paul and Alice (Therien) Beaulieu and stepson of Thomas Berube. Alfred owned and operated Beaulieu Chrysler Plymouth, Madawaska, until retiring in 1973. He was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and a member of fourth degree Knights of Columbus. He is survived by six sons, Real and his wife, Martha, of Miami, Guildo of Fort Pierce, Fla., Conrad and his wife, Rachel, Donald and his wife, Mona, and Paul and his wife, Jackie, all of Madawaska and Ken of Dallas; two daughters, Gaetane Beaulieu of Montreal and Muriel Deschaine and her husband, Don, of Madawaska; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one sister, Hattie Martin of Green River, New Brunswick; two stepsisters, Eglantine Albert of Exeter, N.H., and Anita Voisine of Green River, New Brunswick; two stepbrothers, Paul Berube, and Armand and his wife, Edna, all of Green River, New Brunswick; several nieces and nephews. Alfred was predeceased by his loving wife, Laurence Bouchard Beaulieu in February 2007; one son, Roger Beaulieu in January 1998; and by three sisters, three brothers and three stepsisters. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Friends and family may call 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at Daigle Funeral Home. Spring interment will be at the parish cemetery.
