At Standish, Zach O’Brien chalked up 24 points and eight rebounds as St. Joseph’s defeated Southern Maine on Sunday night. Tyler Kelley tossed in 15 points while Alberto Rue and Chris Petzy provided 11 apiece for the Monks. Isaac Cortez netted a game-high 35 points for the Huskies while John Sewall contributed 10.

USM 67, Saint Joseph’s 50
At Standish, Curran Leighton netted 20 points and posted eight rebounds to spark the University of Southern Maine by Saint Joseph’s College on Sunday. Renee Nicholas scored 12 points for the Huskies and Haley Johnson tallied eight points and 11 rebounds. Carolyn Freeman scored 12 points to pace Saint Joseph’s.

Maine 3, North Dakota 3 (OT)
At Grand Forks, N.D., Jenna Ouellette, Jordan Colliton and Dawn Sullivan each netted a goal for the University of Maine in the second period as the Black Bears and North Dakota fought to a 3-3 tie on Saturday. Jennie Gallo and Lexie Hoffmeyer each posted two assists for the 3-9-5 Black Bears. Jessica Bond and Taryn Peacock each added an assist. Brittany Ott stopped 24 of 27 shots. North Dakota (3-6-3) tied the game with three goals in the third period. Jordan Slavin, Alyssa Wiebe and Mary Loken each scored. Brittany Kirkham made 26 saves on 29 shots.
