Jovan Belcher (2008), Kansas City Chiefs: The rookie inside linebacker has played in all 10 games for the Chiefs this season, making seven solo tackles in an upset win over Pittsburgh Sunday and 29 total (28 solo) on the season.

Stephen Cooper (2002), San Diego Chargers: The seventh-year pro at inside linebacker leads the team with 77 total tackles (56 solo) and has forced two fumbles. He has started all 10 of the Chargers games.

Mike DeVito (2006), N.Y. Jets: The third-year NFL pro is a key reserve at right defensive end. He has 22 tackles (14 solo) with two fumble recoveries in nine games.

Brandon McGowan (2004), New England Patriots: The free safety is in his first season with the Pats after four with the Chicago Bears. McGowan has played in all 10 games, starting eight. He leads the team with 63 tackles (50 solo) and has three forced fumbles and two recoveries.

Montell Owens (2005), Jacksonville Jaguars: The fullback and special teams captin is in his fourth NFL season. He’s played in all 10 games, getting two carries for one yard. On special teams, he has returned one punt 29 yards and made nine total (seven solo) tackles.

Matt Mulligan (2007), N.Y. Jets: The rookie tight end remains on the Jets’ practice squad. Since leaving UMaine, he has been on the practice squad with both Miami and Tennessee before signing with the Jets in September.

Lofa Tatupu (2001), Seattle Seahawks: The middle linebacker is in his fifth NFL season. He made 32 tackles this season, but injured a pectoral muscle and is out for the season.
