Did Sens. Snowe and Collins cast the right vote?

Both Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins joined their Republican colleagues and voted against bringing the Senate health care bill to the floor for debate. Was this the right move? Is the current bill the best hope of reversing the climbing costs of health care? Or

is the bill less than the “half a loaf” Democrats hoped for? Or are Republicans right in asserting that it will raise the cost of health insurance for many middle-income Americans? More key votes will follow in the coming weeks; how should Maine’s senators vote?
