BELFAST, Maine — Police were searching Friday evening for a streaker who reportedly took advantage of the unseasonably mild weather to run naked down Miller Street.

“It’s probably some kid playing some kind of prank,” said Waldo County dispatcher Mike Larrivee. “It’s a nice warm night to be out.”

The agency received a complaint call at about 5:15 p.m., he said.

There was no further word on the search by early Friday evening.
