Bangor 25, Messalonskee 13
At Bangor, Lonnie Hackett rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns and Joe Seccareccia passed for one score and returned a punt for another as the top-ranked Rams remained unbeaten.
Hackett scored on a 20-yard run to give 10-0 Bangor a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, then capped off the scoring with a 4-yard run with 3:44 left in the game.
Seccareccia returned a punt 53 yards for a score in the third quarter, then passed 67 yards to tight end John Kelley for another touchdown later in the period. That last touchdown came on Hackett’s 12th consecutive carry, all of the plays on a 57-yard march.
Seccareccia completed 7 of 19 passes for 107 yards on the night. Kelley had three catches for 79 yards, while Nate Henigan had four receptions for 28 yards.
Fourth-seeded Messalonskee of Oakland quarterback Dylan Foster hit Sam Dexter for touchdown passes of 75 yards early in the third quarter and 36 yards with 9:44 left in the game to pull the 6-4 Eagles within 19-13.
Dexter had five pass receptions for 130 yards.

Brunswick 27, Lawrence 14

At Fairfield, third-seeded Brunswick scored 20 unanswered points to knock No. 2 Lawrence out of the playoffs in the semifinal round for the second straight year.
Stefan Jensen scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter, and after a Rashon Edgerton extra-point kick, Brunswick tied it at 14-14.
Jensen gave the Dragons the lead by completing a 23-yard pass to Edgerton in the third quarter. Edgerton added some insurance with a 43-yard scoring pass to Dylan Walton in the fourth.
Edgerton first put Brunswick on the board with a 13-yard run in the first period.
Lawrence’s Bobby Belanger completed a 5-yard pass to Mark Yandian for a second-quarter touchdown. Christian Powers added a 16-yard scoring run to give Lawrence a 14-7 lead.

At Bath, Forrest Chadwick scored three touchdowns as No. 3 Gardiner edged defending Eastern Maine champion Morse, the No. 2 seed.
Chadwick scored on a 4-yard run and a 45-yard interception return in the second quarter and a 28-yard third-quarter run.
Morse, which had defeated Gardiner 7-0 in Week 2 of the regular season, took a 6-0 lead in the first quarter of the rematch on a 51-yard pass from Mike Walton to Everett Moye.
The Shipbuilders scored their final touchdown on a 1-yard run by Walton in the third quarter.

At Turner Center, Josh Strickland rushed for 265 yards and scored a touchdown as top-seeded Leavitt defeated No. 4 Hampden Academy.
Eric Theiss scored on 3- and 9-yard rushes in the first half for Leavitt. Jordan Hersom added two rushing touchdowns in the third quarter.
Strickland scored on an 84-yard run in the second quarter. He totaled 22 carries.
The Broncos tied it early on a 3-yard rush by fullback Michael Jenkins. He recorded 41 yards on eight carries.

At Albany, N.Y., Allie Dolce scored two goa

ls and assisted two others as No. 2 Boston University knocked out No. 3 University of Maine from the America East Conference semifinals.
The Terriers will face top-seeded Albany for the championship today at 4 p.m. in Albany.
Giovanna Monaco, Jacinda McLeod and Nicole van Oosterom also scored for the 9-11 Terriers. Nikki Lloyd and Haley Robinson had assists. Amanda Smith and Julie Collins combined for three saves on five shots.
Courtney Veinotte scored two second-half goals for the 12-7 Black Bears. Kelly Newton recorded an assist. Brittany Fleck saved six of 11 shots.

UM-Machias 101, Unity 31

At Machias, Nate Case totaled 16 points, nine rebounds and four assists to lead the University of Maine at Machias past Unity College Thursday.
Nate Burke added 14 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals for the Clippers. Karan Kakar scored 16 points and Zach Armstrong recorded 14 points.
John Crowe led Unity with 16 points and eight rebounds.

At Orono, Jenna Ouellette scored off a Myriam Croussette assist with 16:10 left in the second period to tie it at 2-2. The Black Bears went on to beat Providence 2-1 in a shootout.
Maine’s Lexie Hoffmeyer and Croussette scored in the shootout to earn an extra point in the Hockey East standings. Jessica Cohen scored for the Friars.
Amy Stech gave 2-7-2 Maine a 1-0 lead with 16:41 left in the first period. Brittany Ott saved 41 of 43 shots.
Alyse Ruff and Nicole Anderson scored for 3-4-4 Providence. Ashley Cottrell had two assists. Genevieve Lacasse turned away 26 of 28 shots.
