UM soccer players garner AE honors

ORONO, Maine — University of Maine women’s soccer players Hannah Breton, Anjelica Hodgson, Kelsey Wilson and have been named to the America East Women’s Soccer All-Academic Team.

All three were named to the America East Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll and were Maine Scholar-Athlete Award winners.

Greenville’s Breton played in 14 games and finished tied for second on the team in scoring with four goals and two assists. She is a civil engineering major.

Hodgson, a biochemistry major, was named to the America East All-Academic Team for the third time and was a 2009 AE first-team selection after starting all 17 games. She helped the Black Bears’ defense post eight shutouts.

Wilson, of Gorham, started all 17 games and finished tied for second on the team in scoring with three goals and four assists. She is a biological engineering major.
