TOWN OF SOUTHWEST HARBOR WATER DEPARTMENT The Town of Southwest Harbor is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Water Operator. The employee is responsible for the daily operations and maintenance of the Town’s Water Filtration Plant and distribution system. A general knowledge of plumbing and electrical basics is a plus. The position also assists the Sewer and Highway departments. The applicant must hold, or be able to obtain, a CDL Class B driver’s license within six (6) months, and must have the ability to obtain a Class III Water License. Salary will be based on experience and licenses held. Water Operator’s license preferred but not required. Must attain Class I & II license within 12 months of employment.
