At Dover-Foxcroft, Yiming Wei scored an unassisted goal with 25:47 left in the second half to provide the No. 7 Ponies with the margin of victory.
Jason Lee had given 8-4-3 Foxcroft Academy a 1-0 lead with an unassisted first-half goal. Hadi El Rabbat made five saves on six shots.
Jeremy Beers scored unassisted in the second half for No. 10 Calais, which finished at 5-9-1. Josh Gillespie made 18 saves on 22 shots.

Class D
Shead 2, Jonesport-Beals 0

At Eastport, freshman Nick Barnes scored with 12:23 left in the first half to lift No. 7 Shead over No. 10 Jonesport-Beals.
Senior Tyler Mitchell added an insurance goal 29 minutes into the second for the 9-6 Tigers. Nick Vinson stopped all seven shots to earn the shutout.
Sid Look turned away eight of 14 shots for the 8-7 Royals.

DI-Stonington 3, Wisdom 1
At St. Agatha, Jay Boyce scored a goal and assisted another to lift No. 9 Deer Isle-Stonington over No. 8 Wisdom.
Every goal was scored in the second half.
Brett Gagne and John Lymburner also scored for the 10-3-2 Mariners. Toby Schulze assisted Gagne’s goal. Joe Carter stopped six of nine shots.
Cody Chamberland scored off a Curtis Picard assist to bring 10-5 Wisdom within a goal at 2-1. Ryan Blanchette saved 19 of 24 shots.

COLLEGE
Field hockey

Castleton 2, UM-Farmington 1
At Farmington, Kealy Chipman, Jessica Scott and Marie Amaral converted penalty stroke attempts as Castleton State College topped the University of Maine at Farmington in double overtime.
Alyssa St. Pierre had the lone penalty stroke conversion for UM-Farmington.
Molly Fraher scored off a Courtney Nolan assist 20:33 into the first half to tie it at 1-1 for 8-9 Castleton. Siobhan Whittemore saved eight of 18 shots.
Ashley Wentworth had an unassisted goal at 5:07 in the first for the 8-7 Beavers. Sarah Brown saved nine of 21 shots.
