LUBEC — The U.S. Coast Guard was searching Wednesday morning in Cobscook Bay for the missing sea urchin dragger Bottom Dasher after it was reported overdue at 10 p.m. Tuesday evening.

The vessel carried a crew of three men.

Two coast Guard vessels and a helicopter were dispatched to the area, and local fishermen and Maine Marine Patrol boats were also involved in the on-water search. Maine State Police assisted on shore.

A debris field and oil slick were located in Johnson Bay, the bay between Lubec and Eastport.
