SCARBOROUGH, Maine — A Massachusetts company that provides remote computer support services says it’ll be hiring 125 workers by year’s end for a new office in Scarborough, Maine.

PlumChoice says its new two-story office building in Scarborough represents its first offices outside of Billerica, Mass., where the company is based. The Scarborough center is the first of a planned series of regional offices being established by PlumChoice to meet growing demand.

PlumChoice provides remote technical support for computers, smart phones, networks, MP3 players, printers, digital cameras and other devices.

The majority of PlumChoice’s work force consists of full-time work-at-home technicians, who support home, home office and small business customers.
