Power outage affects Blue Hill, Sedgwick

BLUE HILL, Maine — A problem with a breaker at the Bangor Hydro-Electric Co. substation in Brooksville knocked out power to customers in Hancock County on Sunday morning.

The outage first was reported at about 9 a.m. Sunday and affected 1,122 customers, the majority of them in Blue Hill and Sedgwick. Bangor Hydro crews repaired the breaker at the substation.

Power was restored to all customers by 12:30 p.m.
