HUMBLE, Texas, and WESTFIELD – Alicia Anne (Weeks) Ochoa passed away Sept. 29, 2009, in Humble, Texas, after a short illness with cancer. She was born April 25, 1961, in Caribou, to Eugene and Alta Fulton Weeks. She attended schools in Westfield and was a graduate of Presque Isle High School. In 2005 she received an Associate of Arts degree from Kingwood Community College, Texas. She was an activities director for more than 25 years and worked in nursing homes in Maine and Texas. Alicia was very caring of the residents and provided many unique and fun programs. From 2006 to 2008, she was property manager at McCulley Commons, Presque Isle; Maple-Tree Estates, Mapleton; and Story Hill Estates, Washburn. Alicia attended Calvary Baptist Church, Westfield, and The Fellowships of The Woodlands Church, The Woodlands, Texas. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Raoul Ochoa; daughter, Courtney Lynn Humphress, all of Humble, Texas; great-aunt, Vera Shaw of Mars Hill; and a number of cousins, in-laws and special friends. A memorial service for her relatives and friends will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating.
