Troop greeter film to leave cinema Oct. 1

BANGOR, Maine — “The Way We Get By,” a documentary film about three area senior citizens who are troop greeters at Bangor International Airport, will run until Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Bangor Mall Cinemas.

The movie was scheduled for a one-week run, from Sept. 11 to Sept. 17, but was extended to Sept. 24 and again until next Thursday.

Movie times are 12:40 p.m. and 6:20 p.m.

Old Town native Aron Gaudet, who directed the movie, said “The Way We Get By” was the second highest-grossing film opening at the theater that weekend, beating out all but one of the national releases.
