DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — A juvenile who was seen kicking a barricade barrel Saturday morning on West Main Street led police to an underage drinking party.

Dover-Foxcroft Police Officer Jon Powers, who observed the incident, stopped to talk with the young man. While there, several of the young man’s friends came from a house in the immediate area, Powers said.

Powers said he learned that a party had occurred at the house and about 15 juveniles had attended. Not wanting to be specific, he said that more than five of the partygoers were summoned for illegal possession of liquor by a minor.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges, that could include the homeowner, may be made, Powers said.
