ALBANY, N.H. — The driver of a minivan that collided with a golf cart in New Hampshire, killing a woman in the cart, has been arrested on a drunken driving charge in connection with the Sept. 6 accident.
Forty-seven-year-old David Reed of Fryeburg, Maine, has been released on $1,000 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Conway District Court on Oct. 27.
New Hampshire State Police said the driver of the golf cart, 33-year-old Jared Fronterio of Gloucester, Mass., is suspected of drunken driving. Police referred their investigation of him to the Carroll County Attorney’s office.
The cart, which had three passengers, was struck by the minivan on Route 13 near Conway. A golf cart passenger, 34-year-old Robin Clohecy of Groveland, Mass., was killed.
