What is Ted Kennedy’s legacy?

Now that the media hoopla of Sen. Ted Kennedy’s death and funeral is over, what do you think will be the man’s legacy? Is it his many legislative accomplishments on the part of the poor, disadvantaged and minorities? Does one law rise to the top?

Does the one issue Mr. Kennedy care deeply about – universal health care – stand out as the one goal he failed to achieve? Will Democrats be inspired by Mr. Kennedy’s service and work to reform health care? Or was Mr. Kennedy a less than admirable figure who relied on his family’s name and wealth to enjoy the powerful position he held?
