DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — Vandalism to three businesses operating in Dover-Foxcroft are under investigation by local police.

Dover-Foxcroft Police Chief Dennis Dyer said 17 lawn mower tires were punctured last week and on the same night, the locks were cut to two service trailers located on the old railroad bed owned by Pike Industry. Nothing was taken in the latter incident, Dyer said.

On Monday, Farrin Bros. reported that someone had cut the lock to its service trailer but nothing was missing from the building, according to Dyer.

Pike and Farrin Bros. are involved in road construction in the town.
