NEW GLOUCESTER, Maine — The Maine Warden Service says a 62-year-old New Gloucester man died after his all-terrain vehicle crashed in a ditch in the southern Maine town.

Raymond Arthur Leavitt Jr. was driving the ATV on Meadow Lane in New Gloucester when he rode into a ditch and was thrown from the vehicle Friday afternoon.

Wardens say Leavitt broke his leg, and the extent of that injury resulted in his death.
