The Associated Press

VASSALBORO, Maine — Maine police found more than 500 marijuana plants worth about $70,000 growing in a man’s house with timer-equipped grow lights, fans and fertilizer.

Daniel Peaslee of Vassalboro was charged with marijuana cultivation and drug possession.

Police say the growing operation was designed for a continuous harvest. The home was very large and the rooms with the plants were hidden throughout the house.
