BANGOR – Mark F. Ginn, 57, died Wednesday Aug. 5, 2009, at his residence. He was born Sept. 15, 1951, in Orland, the son of Clyde and Helen (Ryan) Ginn. Mark was retired from the U.S. Navy. He was a lifelong Yankee’s fan, a prolific reader, writer, enjoyed music and will always be remembered as a great debater. Mark is survived by his sisters, Jane Regan Ames and her husband, Gary, of Spencerport, N.Y., Janet Ginn of Bay Village, Ohio, and Elizabeth Ryan of Bangor; nephew, John Ames and his wife, Karen, of Spencerport, N.Y.; niece, Kathleen Ames of Spencerport, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Zina Regan of Brewer; and special friends, Bob and Lisa Dempsey, and Keith Taber. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Regan. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta.
