At Thomaston, Matt Beecher hit a solo home run, a double and an RBI single to help spark South Portland by Lewiston.
Felix Delvecchio hit a three-run home run in the second inning while Aidan Mckee hit a solo home run in the fourth for South Portland.
Kyle Lemelin led Lewiston with a double, a single and an RBI.

JUNIOR LEAGUE STATE TOURNAMENT
Bangor 2, Acadian 1

BANGOR — Bangor eliminated Acadian 2-1 and then beat Waldo County 15-9 in the first-round of the championship bracket Monday night to force a final against Waldo today in the state Junior League all-star baseball tourney at Mansfield Stadium.
Tonight’s final begins at 6 o’clock and the winner claims the state title and advances to regional play.
In the nightcap, Bangor took advantage of six walks for a six-run rally in the sixth to hand Waldo County its first tourney loss.
Collin Kimsey and Anthony Capuano each recorded a double, single and two RBIs to lead Bangor. Brian Rouleau and Tyler LaPlante added two singles apiece and Bobby Winchell doubled.
Adam Higgins doubled, singled twice and drove in a run to lead Waldo. Buddy Ellis added two singles, Nick Rodgerson had an RBI double and Nick Adams doubled.
In the first game, Winchell allowed only one and four hits in 6¤ innings to help Bangor eliminate Acadian of Bar Harbor.
Winchell struck out eight and walked one and aided his own cause with an RBI double and single. Rouleau chipped in with an RBI double.
Rob Logue paced Acadian with a triple and single. Adam Gray chipped in with two singles and Seth Vandergrift tripled.
