Pelkey stroked two singles and a double, knocked in three runs and stole four bases Monday to power the Lincoln Lumber to a 17-7 Zone 1 American Legion baseball victory over Orono.
Ivan Voisine hit a two-run home run and two singles. Allen Langley hit two singles while A.J. Harris had an RBI double for Lincoln.
Ben Perry hit two singles and a double for Orono. Dana Leland hit three singles, Jason Smith had a home run, a single and two RBIs while Charlie Boyle had a double and a single.

BANGOR 7, HERMON 4

BANGOR — Cordelia Stewart scattered six hits to earn the pitching win as Bangor beat Hermon-Levant-Glenburn 7-4 to capture the District 3 Little League all-star softball title for ages 11-12 Monday at the Bangor High School field.
Stewart aided her own cause by stroking two doubles with two–RBIs to propel Bangor to a berth in the state tournament.
Amanda Allen doubled for Hermon.

Bucksport 13, Machias 8

At Machias on Saturday, Noah Lenor’s two-run double in the fifth inning and Tanner Stegner’s two-run double in the sixth highlighted four-run rallies that erased an 8-5 deficit.
Winning pitcher Lenor and Stegner each also had a single. Austin Mason tripled, doubled and singled for the winners and Tyler Hayes and Riley MacLeod had two singles each. Hayes had an RBI.
Damon Barker had three singles and two RBIs for Machias.

At Bucksport, Chase Carmichael had three singles and two RBIs and winning pitcher Brody Boynton hit a two-run double as Bucksport II triumphed in an elimination game that was called after five innings.
Jacob Wilson had an RBI single for the winners.
James Mcconomy had two singles for Acadian II.

At Holden, Caleb Tribou singled twice to help Houlton edge Brewer.
Cameron Graham, Jacob Worthley and Isia Bouchard each added a single for the winners.
Alex Brooks doubled twice and singled to lead Brewer. Kyle St. Thomas added three singles and Rece Baker had two.

Machias 18, Sunrise 1

At Machias, Gage Feeney pitched a no-hitter with seven strikeouts Monday as Machias rolled past Sunrise 18-1 in four innings in a District 1 ages 11-12 Little League all-star game.
Colin Pineo hit three singles while Jared Taylor and Dylan Baker added two singles apiece for Machias.

At Bar Harbor, Asher Bowden and Cody Augherton combined on a two-hitter to lead Bucksport to victory.
Augherton and Mitchell Roi each hit two singles and scored a run, while Matt Stewart had a single with two RBIs.
Tanner Bickford singled twice for Acadian, which was eliminated.

At Hermon, Nick Bennett, Brandon Young and Eric Hoogterp combined on a no-hitter as Hermon defeated Glenburn in four innings.
Andrew Elston hit a home run and a single for Hermon. Eric Hoogterp doubled and singled while Ben Wheeler had two singles.

At Brewer, Logan Roberson hit a three-run double to highlight an eight-run first inning as Brewer cruised past Bangor West.
Jacob Currier had a triple, a single, two RBIs and two runs scored for Brewer. Jared St. Thomas doubled and singled while Seth Pearson hit a two-run double.
Jake Fournier hit an RBI double for Bangor West.

At Blue Hill, Nick Trundy doubled and singled and drove in a pair of runs to pace Coastal past Calais.
Jordan Lord and Hayden Ciomei had two singles apiece for the winners and Lord had an RBI.
Tim Demolet’s double and single and two RBIs and Tyler Morrison’s two singles paced Calais.

At Mount Desert, Trevor Alley hit two singles and a double as Acadian defeated Bucksport.
Seth Vandegrift pitched a complete game and hit two singles while Caleb Cough chipped in with two singles for Acadian.
Carter Maguire hit a single for Bucksport.

District 3, Senior League
Brewer 6, Hampden 1

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Brandon Briggs hit a three-run double to spark a five-run fourth inning that broke a 1-1 tie and carried Brewer to victory.
Briggs, who added two singles and another RBI, also pitched 6¤ innings of three-hit, one-run ball. He struck out six and walked three.
Tyler White singled twice with an RBI and Jordan Smith added two singles.
Charlie Rawcliff hit an RBI single to lead Hampden.
