Drugs form bulk of 53 Aroostook indictments

CARIBOU, Maine — Patterns of indictment repeated on Thursday, as drug offenses peppered the list of charges handed up against people in Aroostook County.

Aroostook County District Attorney Neale Adams said the Aroostook County grand jury completed its year of service Thursday, issuing 53 indictments against 50 people.

As in past months, drug offenses such as unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs were prominent on the list.

The indictments included:

Douglas A. Everett Jr., 28, Washburn, burglary, theft.

Jessica L. Dama, 20, Fort Fairfield, theft.

Jennifer D. Hathon, aka Jennifer Morneault, aka Jennifer Hadfield, 34, theft.

Leo N. Corriveau, 79, Presque Isle, violation of conditions of release, criminal threatening.

Chad B. Walton, 27, Presque Isle, aggravated assault, violation of condition of release.

Jerry D. York, 24, Presque Isle, operating after revocation, violation of condition of release.

Jeremy S. Laflamme, 26, Presque Isle, aggravated criminal mischief.

Jeffrey E. Curtis, 23, Castle Hill, theft, two counts theft by deception, forgery, misuse of identification.

Mellissa A. Genthner, 29, Presque Isle, theft.

Ryan C. Young, 28, Alfred, aggravated forgery.

Amanda K. Sherman, 31, Houlton, forgery, theft.
