BANGOR, Maine — Josiah Brazier hit a three-run double to highlight a six-run seventh-inning rally by Steamboat Petroleum of Waldo County as they defeated Motor City 8-4 in an American Legion baseball game Tuesday.
Ethan McHatten added a two-run single in the seventh for Steamboat. Nate Adams hit a run-scoring double in the first.
Jon Johnson led Motor City with a triple, single and two RBIs. Charlie Merritt doubled, singled and drove in a run and Jarod Theriault had two singles and an RBI.

At Calais, Josh Tardiff hit four singles and knocked in two runs as Hampden defeated Calais.
Nolan Turner singled three times for the Riverdogs. Cody Johndro hit two singles and drove in a run and Brennan Perry singled twice.
Ryan Schoppee hit a two-run single in the fifth inning to lead Calais. Josh Garnett and Dylan Ramsdell each singled and a scored a run.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Devin Lyshon hit a two-run double in the first inning and added a sacrifice fly to lead Bangor past Trenton of Blue Hill Monday.
Lonnie Hackett had two singles and two RBIs for the Comrades. Cody McInnis added two singles and two runs scored.
Calvin Tweedie hit a two-run double in the fifth for Trenton. Mike Crowley hit three singles, Collin Ciomei had two singles, a run and an RBI and Nick Saunders doubled and singled with an RBI.
