Over a year ago, when home-heating oil was selling at $4 per gallon, the state began
leading the charge toward cellulose-based fuels, such as wood pellets. This winter,
heating oil may again be $3 per gallon or more. Has enough been done to move the state
away from fossil fuels? What should be done? Should tax incentives be implemented to
encourage the commercial use of wood pellets? Or is wood not the answer? Does it cause
too much pollution? Is natural gas a better option?
